Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Atlas Research platform ("Service"), operated by Atlas Research LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Atlas Research is an AI-powered research platform that provides data analysis, PDF processing, interactive Python notebook generation, multi-document corpus Q&A, and related research workflow tools.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.

Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method each billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

The Individual plan includes a set number of credits per billing cycle. Usage beyond included credits may be billed as metered overage at the end of the cycle.

New Individual accounts receive a 7-day free trial. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your access to paid features will be suspended.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including PDFs, notebooks, and documents. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the property of Atlas Research LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious files or content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atlas Research LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or complete. You are responsible for verifying all outputs.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
